An explorer scrambles through the thick jungle for several minutes, his heart pounding in his chest. Then, he spots her — Venus’ Maiden. It’s been years since he’s seen her, and he’s struck by how beautiful she is.
The Maiden is tall and slender, with long brown hair that flows down her back. Her eyes are deep blue and full of wisdom, and her skin glows in the sunlight. She wears a simple white dress that billows in the breeze.
The explorer approaches slowly, unsure how to start a conversation with someone so ethereal. But as he gets closer, he realizes that the Maiden is waiting for him.
“Greetings, traveler,” she says softly, her voice melodic and enchanting. “I have been waiting for you.”
The explorer tells her his story — a tale of love and loss. As he speaks, the Maiden listens intently, nodding her head and offering words of comfort when needed.
Eventually, the explorer finishes his story. The Maiden looks at him thoughtfully before speaking again.
“I cannot change what has happened,” she says slowly, “But I can offer you solace.”
The explorer feels a twinge of hope in his heart as the Maiden raises her hand to his cheek. He closes his eyes as she sings a soft melody, drawing him into a peaceful trance.
Days pass, and the explorer stays with the Maiden. They share stories and laughter in the bright sunlight, walking together through the jungle on long, meandering paths.
But as time passes and days turn into weeks, the traveler begins to feel an almost magnetic pull towards the sky — towards Venus’ Maiden. He knows that if he stays any longer, he will never leave her side again.
Finally, after many long months of reflection and contemplation, the explorer decides to leave his guide behind and return to his tribe. But even as he starts to turn away from Venus’ Maiden for good, he knows that she will always be with him — in his memories and in his heart.
And as their paths go their separate ways once more — but not forever — they both smile contentedly, knowing that although their paths may differ now, they will always be linked by a bond that transcends time and space
